We are proud to introduce LC_Bot
Our first link checker for our forum. It will crawl the forum and posts and checks links for validity. If 75% of the links are dead it will send you a message and reply to the post. Dead posts will be moved to the category Trash

Know the following about LC_Bot:
It is a script that runs and not a human that detects for dead links.
-Topics are checked ever 2 days, ignored topics are checked every 14 days.
If you think that the bot made a mistake or if your fixed your download links, please report the topic to move it again to its correct category.
One of our staff members will check the report and do the appropriate action accordingly.
- It might take up to 7 days to fix it, most actions are done without replying to you

As explained earlier, if you want to keep your topic alive, simply edit your post and update the links, after having a valid clean post, report the topic with this button Posted Image

We finished the testing phase and so far the bot is working great! Yet report to us any issues you might come across.
This shall keep our wonderful forum alive and clean!

I currently noticed too much errors in the system. So i stopped the bot for around 30 days and managed to recode the whole thing again. No you should expect that the ratio of failure is much much less.

I reversed the function used. By means it will be positive in case of error and negative if the match was found. Many too much technicality wont do here :p

In all cases, nothing new except this tweaks along with forum tweaks in the back end.

Regards.

Update 3:

People read our rules, we no longer tolerate lazy people. All folder url lists are moved to trash automatically!

For example:
http://netfolder.in
http://hotfile.com/list/
http://www.fileserve.com/list/

Post the download links as they are, do not collect them in a single link! This will remove the possibility to check download links. For this reason all such folders from now on are moved to trash automatically!
